PRIVACY & MINISTRY POLICY
At Peggy Pugh Ministries, we are deeply committed to safeguarding your privacy and maintaining the highest ethical standards in our ministry. Here is our policy regarding client information and our role as non-licensed therapists:
1. Confidentiality: We respect the confidentiality of all client information. Conversations, personal details, and any information shared during sessions are kept strictly confidential. We do not disclose any client information to third parties unless legally required to do so.
2. Non-Licensed Therapists: Please be aware that our ministry team is not comprised of licensed therapists or counselors. We do not provide professional therapeutic services. Instead, we are vessels used by God to offer spiritual guidance, prayer, and support. Therefore, insurance companies rarely cover this type of service.
3. Spiritual Guidance: Peggy Pugh’s ministry is non-denominational, and rooted in Christian faith and principles. We offer spiritual guidance, prayer, biblically-based inner healing, and deliverance as a means to support and assist clients on their healing journey. We are pastoral in nature and led by the Holy Spirit. We rely on the leading of the Holy Spirit, to reveal the root trauma that opened the door and caused the individual to be emotionally shut down, leaving them into spiritual and emotional pain. This revelation begins the healing process. We do not claim the ability to heal anyone but rely on the Holy Spirit's guidance in our ministry.
4. Informed Consent: Clients are informed that our services are based on spiritual guidance and ministry, not professional therapy. We request your informed consent before any sessions, ensuring that you understand the nature of our ministry.
5. Record Keeping: We maintain minimal records of our interactions for administrative purposes only. These records are securely stored and never shared with external parties.
6. Respect for Free Will: We believe in the importance of free will and personal agency. Clients are free to accept or reject our guidance and ministry as they see fit, and we respect their decisions without judgment.
7. Ministry Outcome: Our goal for every client is that they would gain the insights into their healing process and increase their skills and knowledge regarding how to maintain their healing. We do not guarantee any other outcomes.
Please remember that while our ministry seeks to provide support and spiritual guidance, ultimate healing comes from God. We are vessels used in His work, and our role is to assist and walk alongside you on your healing journey.
If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy and ministry policy, please do not hesitate to reach out. Your spiritual well-being and confidentiality are of utmost importance to us.
In His service,
Dr. Peggy Pugh
